Little Donny's Guide to Packing Like a Winner
Most people pack clothes. Winners pack confidence, three gold ties and a framed photo of themselves for the hotel room.
A lot of people ask me, “Donny, how do you travel so much and always look so good?” The answer is packing. I’ve packed for a hundred countries, maybe two hundred. Here is everything I know.
What to Pack
- Ties. One for every day, plus three spares, in case you meet a king, a queen or a mirror.
- Hairspray. As much as they let you carry. They never let you carry enough. Somebody should look into that.
- A framed photo of yourself. Hotel rooms have boring art. Put yours up. Instantly better.
- Snacks. Airplane food doesn’t meet my standards. Nothing does, but some things get closer.
What Not to Pack
- Doubt. It takes up too much room.
- A map. I’ve never needed one. The world comes to me.
- Socks with holes. Security sees everything. Give them something to admire.
The Suitcase
Gold, with wheels. It rolls so smoothly it almost walks by itself. Airport security always wants to look inside. That’s because it’s beautiful. They can’t help themselves.
Frequently Asked Questions
Carry-on or checked bag?
Both. Plus a second plane for the ties.
How do you fold a suit?
I don't. Someone else does. That's the secret to wrinkle-free travel.
